My love of sound started very young when I recorded playing with hot wheels tracks with my cassette deck and listening back later just because I liked how it sounded. Little did I realize I would use that skill later on. Video games came along with I was 10 with my first console, the Atari 2600. Then moving on to the Commodore 64 really got me enjoying all sorts of different game types. By 15, I was working in an arcade, where the idea of creating games was sparked. When I was 21 I moved to California and started working at Virgin Games with Tommy Tallarico in the audio department, and that’s where it all started.
I’ve had the privilege of designing sounds for Earthworm Jim, Tony Hawk Pro Skater, the Unreal series, the Gears of War series, Paragon, Fortnite, Sackboy: A Big Adventure, Crystal Crisis, The Binding of Isaac: Repentance, The Legend of Bum-bo, and many more. I even got to design sounds for Snoopy vs The Red Baron which was a childhood dream come true as Snoopy was my favorite!
I’ve had the privilege of collaborating with numerous amazing game developers whom I am very grateful for. I’ve been able to work on so many different types of games which has given me the opportunity to create a vast array of different sounds.
Combining my two passions has been every bit as thrilling and fulfilling as it sounds.
